  1. These foods are also very high in fiber, which makes them that much more valuable in helping with weight loss. When the quality of the foods you eat goes up, the quantity can go up too. Excellent suggestion to soak the beans to remove the phytates, which are responsible for the negative “side effects ” we associate with them.
